This tailored jacket was part of a traditional tailoring class that taught the technique of hand tailoring through pad-stitching and horsehair interfacing. The patterns were drafted by hand to my measurement. It is cut from a navy blue Italian suiting wool, and lines with Indian silk. It was inspired by historical European Naval uniforms but was simplified to be more streamline and modern while maintaining the timeless essence and silhouette.
